Recently, I had an opportunity to take photos from the top of a building in downtown Greenville. The light was not great however some of the shots turned out. I am pleased with them mostly because of the perspective. I plan to share a few of these “birds eye” photos mixed in with my current event photos over the next week. So be sure and check back to see what is posted … My favorite previously posted photo of the Carolina First building was this reflection shot.

nice clean architecture!
am looking forward to the series.
Is that the sun reflecting off the top windows?
I look forward to the pictures to come.
Beautiful lighting…wonderfully captured shot!
Nice shot. Great reflection and color just starting to appear in the clouds.
This photo is so striking. I love the lines.
What a great shot — has a “Gotham” feel to it! I’m envious that you got to be on top of that building.
Kris, the series will be relatively short and intermingled with other photos.
Pastorrick, yes that is the reflection of the setting sun. I wish I could have hung around for 30 minutes longer to get the full effect of the sun set.
Kalyan, thank you.
John, thanks. The perspective of looking directly at the top of building is interesting to me.
Lessie, thanks.
Brian Habig, yes it does have a “Gotham” feel.
I’m seeing what a bird might see. That’s nice.
how do you get permission to go up there to take photos?
I’m looking for a photo of the new brick sculpture on Main Street in Greenville. I would like to use it for a magazine article. Do you have a shot of it? We would give you photo credit in the Design Awards (architects) magazine.
Many thanks!
