March 26, 2007 - The Carolina First building

The Carolina First building at sunset in Greenville, SC Recently, I had an opportunity to take photos from the top of a building in downtown Greenville. The light was not great however some of the shots turned out. I am pleased with them mostly because of the perspective. I plan to share a few of these “birds eye” photos mixed in with my current event photos over the next week. So be sure and check back to see what is posted … My favorite previously posted photo of the Carolina First building was this reflection shot.

Nice shot. Great reflection and color just starting to appear in the clouds.

What a great shot — has a “Gotham” feel to it! I’m envious that you got to be on top of that building.

Kris, the series will be relatively short and intermingled with other photos.

Pastorrick, yes that is the reflection of the setting sun. I wish I could have hung around for 30 minutes longer to get the full effect of the sun set.

Kalyan, thank you.

John, thanks. The perspective of looking directly at the top of building is interesting to me.

Lessie, thanks.

Brian Habig, yes it does have a “Gotham” feel.

I’m seeing what a bird might see. That’s nice.
