Today’s photo is actually multiple exposures of two photos taken at the location of the Future home of the Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center. An article in the Greenville News says they are very close to there $15 million fundraising goal. The plan to “include a performing arts theater, an aquatic center, tennis and golf complexes, a conference center and a childcare facility”.

And I thought it was a very cleverly captured reflection. I’m still impressed.

One of the quotes attributed to him is “It’s easy to have principles when you’re rich. The important thing is to have principles when you’re poor.” Now I see that his principles live on even after his death.
What was his connection to S. Carolina?
Nice reflection photo, too, Denton.

I thought it was a strange reflection too! Nice post, it will be interesting to check it out how it’ll be in the early future

Very interesting effect! I had to look at it for a while to appreciate all the details…
Thank you for your kind comment on my “Men at work” post. Just to be a part of HFH it is very satisfying.

This is a very nice double exposure, Denton! Now if only a third exposure of the site plan were added…that’d be great!

Norma, thank you.
Annie, I’m not sure what connection Ray and Joan Kroc have to Greenville other than we spend a lot of money at McDonald’s. I assume this is part to their philanthropy spread around the US.
Dsole, I think they plan to start the project mid year 2007. So maybe some photos of the construction will appear in a few months.
Isabella, thank you and you are welcome.
RestedTraveler, thank you. I felt the collage worked fairly well.
Olivier, thanks.

I wish I knew how to do that. I didn’t know that the Salvation Army provided performing arts venues. I’m a little confused.
Also, Wal-Mart? Wasn’t Ray Kroc the founder of McDonald’s?
