It was another cold overcast experience yesterday when I went looking for a photo. As a result I chose a scene which excludes the sky. It also presented an opportunity to get some exercise.

Until recently Greenville has had unseasonably warm weather. However, yesterday was overcast and cold. In fact Greenville has had freezing weather the last several days. So at lunch I went for a walk in Falls Park and in an effort to disregard the cold weather I took this close-up of daffodils defiantly blooming during January.
In between the winter weather on Friday and again on Sunday, Greenville had a beautiful blue sky on Saturday. This photo was taken Saturday and shows the blue sky as well as a planter designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The next time you are downtown in Greenville check these planters out. There is a small signature plate at the bottom of each planter.
Early this week, while on an evening walk, I took this photo of the entrance to Trinity Lutheran Church in downtown Greenville. Their website says that construction on the main building began in 1913. I especially liked the floodlit entrance with three red doors.
I saw this licens plate last week and found it a unique site for Greenville. The lady who owns the Volvo explained that they had the car shipped from Sweden … Please stop by and say hi to Jing. She presents a daily photo from Shanghai (China) which I am sure you will enjoy.
