It was another cold overcast experience yesterday when I went looking for a photo. As a result I chose a scene which excludes the sky. It also presented an opportunity to get some exercise.

Denton, once again you’ve lured me into your composition….looks like I’ll be getting some exercise as well!
Nice perspective.

You do it everytime — great photo of something so easy to overlook.

hello! my husband and i are looking into moving to greenville in the next couple years to start the next branch of our family business. we found your pictures very inviting! thank you! although he’s a country boy, i’m a city girl and i am trying to convince him to live in the city once we arrive to get it out of my system! anyway wouldn’t it be better to live on the farms with rolling acres when we have kids?!?! well thanks so much!

Sophie, I’m flattered. The lighting was bad so perspective was all I had to work with.
Lessie, well not every time. But thank you for your complement. I have found that as this daily photo experience progresses I am challenging myself more and more. What I would have been happy with a year ago I pass by and continue to look.
Miriam, this is great news. Maybe I should ask the economic development counsel to be a sponsor now that Greenville Daily Photo is influencing businesses relocation (smile) … Actually your decision of country or downtown is a win win situation. I’m sure you will enjoy the result from either choice. When we chose to move downtown we understood it was a life style choice more than location choice. We certainly have enjoyed our choice.

I love the look of this photo…and the stairs give the impression of a nice gentle grade. It was intersting to read your discussion of country versus city and how both could be a win win…ever the diplomat.
