January 1, 2007 - Theme day - best of 2006

A table at Coffee Underground restaurant in downtown Greenville, SC The theme day is “My best photograph from last year”. Going through the photos posted in 2006 reminded me how lucky we are to live in downtown Greenville and to be able to share the experience with all of you. It doesn’t surprise me that this one was your winner…it is wonderful…looking like something in a glossy magazine. The others are wonderful too. of the the buildings, I loved the BB&T one.

You made a great choice because of the mood that it evokes. Simplicity is deceptive in this photo because the angle and light are really quite complicated. It is restful and serene. Very Nice!!

It is hard to choose, isn’t it! I like your choice - it’s subtle ocmpared to some others, but gives such a lovely feeling of expectancy - who will sit there? What kind of conversation will they have? It’s fun to imagine! Happy New Year — here’s to many more photos and many more new friendships!
