Isn’t amazing how recognizable those outfits are? Fun!

(and my anti-spam word is “clever” which is also true)

Ah, the world of OZ! Hmmm! The red shoes worn by Judy Garland was recently stolen from the museum in her childhood home in MN. Gosh, some people will go to any length to get a good theme day photo!!

Denton–great shot–like the humour in it. I wouldn’t worry about your first shot that you deleted…everytime I go out and do my “stealth” photography I feel a little like a stalker!

I wonder what the occasion was? Excellent photo, so colourful. You did a great job on your Bob shot! Thanks for your warm welcome to DP.

What a great shot Denton. Did you catch that at Halloween or did you get lucky to find actors on their way to performance?

Thanks for your comments. Theme day was a lot of fun this month.

Carol, Dorothy and the scarecrow visited Greenville during a recent festival. At the time I was disappointed that this was the best photo I was able to get given the crowds. As it turned out this photo worked well for out theme.

Jing, yes those shoes really stand out.

Susan, there were a few politician walking around.

Kim, this was taken in November at the Fall for Greenville festival.

Olivier, many of us share this as a fond memory.

Norma, very colorful indeed.

Ham, maybe I should have yellowed the pavement to look like the yellow brick road.

Midnitebara, thank you.

~tanty~ I hope your weekend is wonderful.

Kaa, I was pleased and felt it a recognizable contribution to the theme.

Edwin, we have a red brick road which will have to do.

Ruth, very recognizable around the world.

Kate, I caught the crook red footed.

chris.h. Bob-shots and stalking may be synonymous.

Isabella, hard to imagine growing up and not watching the wizard of oz.

zsolt & zannnie, thanks.

Susan, I’m glad I was able to present the unexpected.

Lisi, thank you.

MoonSoleil, thank you

Susan, you are welcome and the occasion was a recent festival.
