November 17, 2006 - A colorful condo on Main Street

A colorful condo on Main Street in Greenville, SC I think the color choice made for these condos was a positive addition to Main Street. I should know the name of the condos however it slips my mind today.

Nice color actually. Just wondering what is the color of the building beside the red/maroon one.

Very, very pretty. This type of downtown building is one of my favorite things. When they’re well preserved like this, it is a pleasure to be there with them. These two buildings are wonderful! The windows in the yellow one are splendid. I want to be inside with the light filtering in. So lovely. I wonder how long these buildings in downtown America will last.

We have some areas in the uk which are colouring their houses like this. In certain areas, people complain, saying it doesn’t conform etc., but i think they brighten the street up wonderfully. Lovely pic!

So cute! I think you have done what seemed impossible! I think I’ll have to rethink my opinion of South Carolina! LOL. A very long time ago, I lived in Columbia (capital for those that don’t know). Well, what can I say about Columbia….I felt as though I had decended into hell.

But downtown Greenville is so cute!

The yellow side is actually owed by an individual, who I will leave anonymous. It is a condo which will include the second and third floor, as well as the roof to the left.
