On Monday, I took this photo through an office window. Reflection from the glass made me think I would not be able to share it. However, with a little photo shop magic it turned out fairly nice. Click here to see the origial photo before cropping and Photoshop enchancement.

une vraie peinture, bravo.
a true painting, cheer
denton, this photo is amazing…
is that real bird or photosop’s effect ?
I’d say: mighty nice.
Amazing that you can look out of your office window and see a hawk!
good timing! you did well tweaking with this effect
What a great photoshop edit – I would not have been able to tell if you said nothing
great PSing!
I’d kinda like the see the photo without the Photoshop tweaking, just to compare. The bird’s wingspred is awesome.
wow, very artistic. fantastic photo.
Thanks for your comments.
Bunyamin Najmi, yes it is a real bird. The Photoshop effect I used was to highlight edges.
Kate, check back later today. Over my lunch hour I will add a link to the original photo.
That’s one terrific shot, Denton! I’m so happy I live here in Greenville simply because we are fortunate enough to be part of this amazing urban-wilderness interface that we have here. We’ve got a few of these red-tailed hawks hanging out in my neighborhood, too. I occasionally see a falcon perched on the highway sign overlooking the I-85/I-385/Woodruff Road interchange while going southbound on I-385, as well. Simply amazing photo capture! :-)
Olivier, thank you.
Bunyamin, I was very pleased. Definitely a real bird.
Lachezar, I was in a co-workers office and this hawk landed on ledge. I took several photos before the bird flew off and I caught this shot.
Krisz, I really wanted to share this photo and could not because of the reflection off the window. So tweaking was a last ditch effort which worked. Also, I am very pleased with the shutter speed on my camera. I was able to take two photo as the bird flew off.
Kala, Edwin, and Midnitebara thanks
RT, your right. Greenville is an outstanding place to live and take photographs.
