I thought this billboard was funny, bold, and unique all at once. Hopefully she accepts his proposal. For our local reader you can see the billboard on Academy street near Washington street. For our readers from other countries I have a question: Do you see such dramatic marriage proposals in your country? If so please share some examples.

This is another house in the Hampton Pinckney Historic Preservation Area of Greenville. I liked the white picket fence and the rocking chairs on the porch. It was wonderful weather last Sunday morning when I went for a walk and took this photo. You can see that I took the photo before they were up to get the newspaper. You can also see that most of our leaves have fallen but not all of them yet.
While out for a walk Sunday morning I took this photo in the Hampton Pinckney Historic Preservation Area. What I liked about this house was the big yard and the wraparound porch. Greenville does an outstanding job of preserving historic areas especially those near downtown.
The same day I captured the sunset posted a few days ago. Looking the other direction I was lucky enough to capture this rainbow as well. It was a special night.
In 1976 my wife and I moved to Brussels Belgium. That was the first year we did not join the extended family at my Grandma’s house for Thanksgiving. However, I did call and visit. When Grandma realized that the Belgium’s did not celebrate Thanksgiving she suggested that I should take a pumpkin pie to work. That was many years ago and sadly my Grandma has passed on. However, following her advice I am sharing a pumpkin pie with the world via our Daily Photo blog. I hope you enjoy.
