The story behind this photo is that T W’s Tavern sits amidst a group of buildings on south Main Street which are being refurbished. The condition of the buildings include some which are completely remodeled with upscale businesses while others stand gutted in preparation for refurbishing. This business falls in between these ranges and boldly makes the statement … “Yes we’re open”.

While on a walk yesterday at lunch I shot this photo of a blue building with the blue sky in the background. Note the manikin in the window. Also, for local reader do you have any insight on the “19 Conrad 23″ on top of the building. The building is on Rhett street so it is not the address. I think it may have been a phone number. Or maybe it was the Conrad hotel in 1923. What do you think?
Yesterday morning I went for a walk on Greenville’s new multipurpose path. The city has converted an abandoned railroad track into a path for bicycling, walking, and jogging. What I found interesting was this railroad crossing which has not yet been removed. Note that the path is safe and well maintained however I was not very good about staying on the path so I wore my hiking boots.
On my walk to work yesterday it was foggy and I thought you might enjoy the scene. This photo was taken on River Walk looking toward the bridge crossing Main Street. The tall building on the right is River Place. Click here to see a previous post of the foot bridge on the left of photo.
