October 24, 2006 - Blue on Blue

A blue building in Greenville, SC While on a walk yesterday at lunch I shot this photo of a blue building with the blue sky in the background. Note the manikin in the window. Also, for local reader do you have any insight on the “19 Conrad 23″ on top of the building. The building is on Rhett street so it is not the address. I think it may have been a phone number. Or maybe it was the Conrad hotel in 1923. What do you think?

I vote for the year…and whom ever Conrad was/is.

It (1923) is the year that construction of the Conrad Building was completed. I’ve seen this format used on a few buildings.

Listen is the anti-spam word. I find it would be better “Look at…”. I find all this blue is beautiful. In France there are also blue houses in Alsacia, but not here. Only sometimes…
