Credit for the angles in this photo goes to RestedTraveler. I duplicated RT’s daylight photo taken at this angle with my photo taken at night. The store sign is for our Mast General Store which Greenville is very happy to have downtown. The tall building in the background is the Bank of America building.

I like your shot better…but then I might be prejudiced.

good shot, Denton. I too, try to learn from other photoblogs…I am still experimenting with fountains and water and hoping to achieve something like your fountain/fall photos earlier.

How did you take this shot—lying on your back?? Quite an angle!!
Denton said,
Norma, yes I suspect you are prejudiced given your my sister. But thank you for the complement.
Lisi, I’m flattered.
Kate, the sign is actually 12-15 feet off the ground. Do I did not have to perform great acrobatic feats to take this photo. Although I have to admit that I have laid on the ground to take photos before.

Great shot. At first I looked really hard for the angels you were talking about, then I realized you wrote angles.

I love the angle! And I like the RT’s daylight photo too since I love the blue sky :)

Hey Denton, that looks fine. It’s fun to try these night shots - yours turned out quite nice.
Thanks for visiting my blog today.

Eric, I have to confess a weakness. Each time I type angle or angel I look it up the definition to insure I have it correct. After looking it up once you would think I would remember but I have been a horrid speller all my life. They did not teach phonics when I was a kid and my readers have suffered ever since.
Tanty, thank you from myself and RT.
Annie, thank you and your welcome.

Denton, I’m flattered. The irony is that, at the very moment I took the daytime photo(s), I thought to myself, “Gee, I bet this would make a heck of a night shot, too.” Very nicely proven on your part! :-)
I love the Mast General Store!
~tanty~ Thanks! :-)
