As a follow-up to yesterday’s post today’s multiple exposure photo is of the current refurbishing project called The Lofts of Greenville at the Monaghan Mill. Other refurbished manufacturing facilities include The Lofts at Mills Mill, The Huguenot Mill, and The Cigar Factory. And in another example even though our condo is all new construction the hardwood floors are reused lumber which comes from an old mill.

They are refurbishing quite a few buildings here in Albuquerque as well. The turned the old Albuquerque High School into lofts after it sat vacant and in disrepair for many many years!

I would like to say that they have done a great job in the transformation from the mill to the lotfs of Greenville. I thought it would be nice to display the historical signifance the mill had in the community. Maybe this has been done and I just havent seen it yet.
