August 5, 2006 - Art at the Cazbah restaurant

« day before | today | day after » Art at the Cazbah restaurant in Greenville, SC My wife, Connie, just came back from a trip so this last week we have been revisiting all of our favorite restaurants in Greenville. Last night we ate at Cazbah and were very pleased. While there I captured this photo of the art. Note that the art in the top of the frame is in a miniature studio. Notice the chair next to the painting.

I hadn’t noticed the stool on top, how fun is that? I love the glass blocks underneath.

that’s interesting. i really like that painting of the person with the sheet. i’ve actually never been to this restaurant…i’ll have to check it out. this is a tapas restaurant, right? i’m not too sure that i like the tapas concept….

Jessica, the tapas concept is great. The concept is that they only serve appitisers. So each person orders two to three appitisers and the normally the table shares. As a result a tapas restaurant is most fun when you go with a crowd. Plus Cazbah has one of the best wine list in town.

ah an upstairs gallery - what great use of space - what kind of food do they serve - I love to go out to eat - only wish I could do it more often

Kala, they serve many dishes for example: Coconut shrimp (my favorite), spinach stuffed chicken (my wife’s favorite), and many other dishes.
