August 2, 2006 - Devereaux’s restaurant

« day before | today | day after » Devereaux's restaurant in Greenville, SC Devereaux’s is one of the best restaurant’s in Greenville. Best of all it’s downtown and they are open on Sunday.

Excellent photo of one of my favorite buildings. It’s one of the oldest buildings in Greenville. It was originally a Cigar Factory and then a cottom mill (Stone Manufacturing). They say you can still find old needles in the wooden floor from back when it was a cotton mill. Great place now. Here is a link about the building if you interested in reading more about it.

Once again Denton…. you picked a great place and a big part of Greenville’s history. Keep up the great work !!

I like your photo even though I am not familiar with Deveraux’s.

Rock, thanks for the comment and the detail. I will use the historical sites link, at the Greenville Library , as a resource for future post.
