I took this photo on my walk home from work yesterday. As you can see we are receiving rain in advance of tropical depression Ernesto which is projected to hit South Carolina on Thursday. Notice the umbrella in the top of the frame, the ducks in the river, and ripples from the rain. All in all it was a very pleasant walk home.

This is a unique prespective of the office building at 55 Camperdown Way. The building is next to Falls Park on the Reedy and is the home to Bowater Inc.

Yesterday evening we flew into the Greenville Spartanburg airport and I took this photo of the pay phones. We have so very few pay phones I Greenville these were the only I could find. I also found it meaningful to catch a traveler on a cell phone when I took the photo.

I would like to say this is a unique view of Riverplace however I saw a similar photo at the Urban Planet photo of the day forum. I have included another link of interest, about Riverplace, which shows the phases and an artist depiction of what it will look like when complete.

It is my understanding that these shops had their grand openings this weekend. Unfortunately we are traveling and will miss the grand openings. I hope you made it.

I took this photo, of a bicycle policeman, Thursday afternoon. What makes this photo special is that a Thursday morning news article quoted residence and business owners asking for the return of the bicycle police. Now that is responsive. Way to go Greenville!
