July 28, 2006 - Muddy water

« day before | today | day after » Muddy water after a big rain in Greenville, SC A lot of rain last week resulted muddy water flowing in the Reedy River. It is not appear to discourage these people for cooling off in Falls Park where the river bends and forms a pool.

I can’t imagine how can people put their feet into the muddy water…maybe it’s really hot ;p

I can’t believe people ever step in that water. Guess maybe they don’t know the downtown streets drain into the river. I’ve seen three snakes swimming in just that one little area of the river at different times. Denton, have you posted pictures of the Rock Quarry Garden at Cleavland Park? (Seems like maybe I already asked you that once.)

Lisi, your correct it was very hot that day.

Eric, I agree however I have to admin cooling my feet in the Reedy just above the falls. I will post a photo of the Rock Quarry Garden within the next week. I have an old photo but given this is a daily photo blog I try to take my photos close to the day they are posted.
