Mural at GSP airport

« day before | today | day after » Mural at Greenville, SC airport. Connie and I just returned from a trip and I thought sharing a photo from the airport was in order. This photo is part of a large mural by Carl Tait. The Crafted with Pride logo shows the influence of the textile industry on the Greenville area. The Indians show the original residence in Greenville. However, I am not sure why the Coca-Cola bottle is shown. Maybe a local reader can provide an explanation.

« day before | today | day after » Freshly mowed grass in Greenville, SC This is the look of freshly mowed grass when you use a lawn service. Back before we moved into a condo and I had to mow my grass I don’t remember having this straight of lines where I pushed the mower.

Muddy water

« day before | today | day after » Muddy water after a big rain in Greenville, SC A lot of rain last week resulted muddy water flowing in the Reedy River. It is not appear to discourage these people for cooling off in Falls Park where the river bends and forms a pool.

Hispanic Festival

Hispanic festival in Greenville, SC
This last weekend there was a Hispanic festival held in downtown Greenville. The food was good, the music was outstanding, and everyone had a good time. These young ladies even posed for my photo.
