I am traveling on business this week so this photo is from my archives. It shows bugs on a flower at Table Rock park just outside of Greenville. The park is a great place to go for a hike and to enjoy nature.

I have posted a photo of this building before. However, no quite from this perspective. Also my last few post have been dark evening or late night photos. So to change the perspective I felt some blue sky was in order.

This is a photo take late night of a fountain downtown in Greenville. The fountain is in Poinsett Plaza next to Restaurant O. From personal experence we can highly recommend the restaurant. In fact we prefer the outdoor tables next to this fountain.

There were lots of people out enjoying the evening last Friday. I took this photo at Piazza Bergamo on Main Street in downtown Greenville. Every weekend is busy now and most weekdays have similar foot traffic.

As part of the wedding planning series the Westin Poinsett hotel is highlighted today. A reader has asked that I share photos of the venues to be used at her wedding. So check back weekly for a new photo in the series. Today’s photo is of a bedroom at the Westin Poinsett in downtown Greenville. It is my understanding that some of the out of town guest will stay at the Poinsett and this will give them a preview. I have it on very good authority the beds are very comfortable. You see, given that we now live in a downtown condo we no longer have a guest bedroom. So when our kids or other relatives come to visit they often stay at the Westin Poinsett.

On Saturday we took a drive and watched the sun set from the top of Paris Mountain on the outskirts of Greenville. I found the silhouette of these communication towers interesting.
