This photo shows Jones Avenue near downtown Greenville. In fact you can see the BB&T building in the background. Prior to choosing a condo we considered a home on this street. The homes are older and most are remodeled. Click here to see an example. What we were most impressed with were the great yards and how close it is to downtown.

My family is moving to Greenville next summer. ( Was born in SC., but have been away for many years)! Now we want to get back to our “ROOTS”, so I have been gathering all the info I can now. Are the homes on Jones Street very expensive? I just love all the trees!
PS: I have been trying to find great pictures that shows the essence of Greenville, and yours are by far the very best! I have enjoyed them very much, so THANK YOU!

Becca, thank you for your complement … Yes, the homes on Jones Street are expensive. My memory is 300K and above. They are in an area of town call the Augusta Road area which includes much of Greenville’s old money … But don’t despair there are many other areas with lots of trees and lower prices … I’m not a realtor however I recommend you research the MLS listing at realtor.com.
