While on a walk in Falls Park yesterday I stopped by “The Stone Landbridge” and took this photo. A plaque says it was donated by The F.W. Symmes Foundation. I found the name interesting so I Googled “Stone Landbridge” and did not receive any hits. Then I looked up landbridge in the dictionary any this certainly meets the definition and it is stone. However I thought there might be more to the meaning given I have never heard the term used before. Do any of our local readers have an explanation of why the name was chosen?
A very colorful juice bar at Senior Wraps. I recommend their Lemonade and their decor. Click here to see Senores and Senoritas, and colorful hallway also from Senior Wraps.
This photo is of the Carolina First Bank building as seen in reflection of the Trattoria Giorgio restaurant window.
