Tomorrow is theme day in the City Daily Photo community and we have chosen to share photos of bridges. I have decided to start a day early and share a photo of the Liberty Bridge in downtown Greenville. Last night we went for a walk and captured this photo showing the bridge and it’s reflection. The Liberty Bridge is a curved suspension bridge built for pedestrians. Following are a few links to previous post of the bridge:

Recently, there have been reports of unexplained flashes of red, in downtown Greenville. With my high speed camera I was able to capture proof that the phenomena is actually Santa on test runs with his new sleigh. Those interested in catching a ride should visit this webiste SleighWithSanta.com

November 26, 2007 - Reflections of Fall foliage

Reflections of Fall foliage in downtown Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto on 11/26/2007.
Sunday, the sky was gray so I chose to take a photo of Fall foliage. This is a reflection in the Bowater building in downtown Greenville. One of the nice things about Greenville is the variety of trees. As a result there are trees which have lost their leaves while others are still brightly colored … The question is, since this is a reflection photo why am I not in the reflection? I’ll share the answer later today in a post script.

PS:  Ian, a fellow Daily Photo Blogger from Sanabis Bahrain,  had the correct answer.  The glass is curved … Ian’s only prize is a lot of visits from all of our readers who will click on his link above … Please follow his link and leave him a comment. I know he will consider that a prize.

November 24, 2007 - Moisture on Fall foliage

Moisture on the Fall foliage in downtown Greenville, SC. This photo was taken by Denton Harryman and posted at GreenvilleDailyPhoto.com on 11/24/2007. This is a follow-up to yesterday’s post about clouds and the hope for moisture. Unfortunately we received only a small amount of moisture (roughly .19 of an inch). However the weather experts predict two inches of rain over the weekend. So today I am sharing a photo, taken during Thursday’s small rainfall, in the hope of more to come … For those following our blog you know that we cooked our turkey a day late and that our Daughter, son-in-law, and their dog Lucy joined us for Thanksgiving. This link shows Lucy making friends at Greenville’s dog park. I have included the above links to share the experience.
