On new years eve, we met friends for an early meal at The Peddler steak house. They have outstanding steaks. Click here for a Google map showing the location. I plan to go back out later tonight and take some photos of the revelers. Then we plan to bring the new year in listening to A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keller. Showing my age when I would rather take a photo of the revelers rather than participate.
about The Peddler steak house
We enjoyed the food and the lights. The atmosphere is cozy which makes for a good evening. We went on Thursday night and their web site says live Jazz on Tuesdays and Fridays. So we missed the live music however friends have told me the music is good.
The photo on the left shows some of their lights. Their web site is http://www.addys.net/ Click here for a Google map showing the location.

When Christmas was over and family was still in town we had to find something to do. So we made a day trip to Biltmore in Asheville, NC. Biltmore is advertised as the largest privately owned home in America. Their web site is Biltmore Estate.
